Condolences
Condolence From: Billie Fulton, Columbus, OH
Condolence: From:
Billie Fulton
His sister
To:
Donna and family, Gene gave me the nickname of
"Butch". He was the only family
member to do so.
He loved to tease me, when we lived at 34 West King Ave, In the backyard was a mulberry tree. He would smash the berries all over my arms and legs. Why??
Fun for him--for
me he was my brother and he played with me.
He had very many original ways of teasing.
Able to make our family laugh. Fond memories.
Prayers and good wishes for all his family. Love Billie

Condolence: Gene Pierce was my first lieutenant when I came on the FD. Although we didn’t necessarily agree on everything, I always respected his aggressive firefighting abilities. He was the guy to be with on a good working fire.
Condolence From: Tony Khoury, Columbus, Ohio
Condolence: I went through the Columbus Fire Academy in 1985. Capt. Pierce was one of the instructors. Great guy. Great fireman. Tough dude! I will always remember him.
