A memorial service will be held at the HILL FUNERAL HOME at 220 S. State St. in Westerville, OH, on Thursday, May 26th, at 11:00 am with family receiving friends 9;30 to 11 am Thursday.

Marilyn Ann Hessler Timcoe, age 81, died peacefully at the Willow Brook Christian Home in Columbus, Ohio, on Tuesday, May 17th, 2016. Born October 4th, 1934, she lived in the Columbus area for most of her life. She worked at the Columbus Division of Police as the secretary for Deputy Chief Thatcher before retiring in 2002. She was active with the Gahanna Senior Center, a big fan of Buckeyes football, and enjoyed reading (especially true crime stories) and visits to Virginia Beach, VA. She is survived by her children Mark Timcoe, Scott Timcoe, and Amy Timcoe; her sister, Barbara Hessler; her cousins Susan Laff and Sharon Halderman; and her very dear friends Tracy Bowling and Kathy Burns. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Fisher Vansil, and Edwin L. and Thelma Stone Hessler; and her sister Shirley Hessler Ohliger. A memorial service will be held at the HILL FUNERAL HOME at 220 S. State St. in Westerville, OH, on Thursday, May 26th, at 11:00 am with family receiving friends 9;30 to 11 am Thursday.
