Condolences
Condolence From: Emily Eby, New Albany, OHr
Condolence: My condolences on the loss of your mom. Sylvia was one of a dedicated group of volunteers who showed up every Saturday to help keep the grounds of Inniswood Metro Gardens looking so great. She was there when I started in spring of 1989 and immediately welcomed me with her big smile. She was still active until close to my retirement 23 years later. No matter what tasks were on the agenda, she jumped in wholeheartedly and never complained. She was a very active volunteer and attended out quarterly meetings, worked the plant sales, enjoyed our field trips, and especially seemed to look forward to our annual hot dog roast. She was quite a woman!

Condolence: George and Lauree, I was so saddened to hear of your mother's death. She and my mom were friends forever. After Carl's death, whenever I would get overwhelmed with all the yard and house stuff that had to be done, I would remember mom telling me that Sylvia was still mowing her own yard! Your mom was my inspiration to stop whining and just get whatever needed done done. You and your families are in my prayers.
