Memorial service on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 11 am at Hill Funeral Home, S. State Street, Westerville, later from 4-6 pm, will be a gathering of family and friends hosted by the Westerville Community United Church of Christ, County Line and Spring roads. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice Foundation.

Our prayers are with you as you remember your wife, mother, and grandmother. To be blessed with a wonderful woman of God is a gift to celebrate. She will be missed.

Vesta Marie (Hite) Williams, 95, of Westerville,Ohio. Died January 9, 2016. Born in Wyandot County, Ohio to Mary and Amos Hite on November 26, 1920. Survived by devoted husband of 74 years, Vernon; children, Sandy (Dick) Bennett, Jim (Wendy) Williams, Barbara Sanders, and Gary (Cheryl) Williams; grandchildren Christine (Charles) Levin, Rick (Anne) Bennett, Christopher (Jenny) Williams, Ashley (John) Chaney, Julia Sanders, and Jessica Sanders; and great grandchildren Chelsea Levin, Emily and Nathan Bennett, Wyatt and Wesley Williams. Preceded in death by daughter, Virginia Simpson. Active in the Westerville community since 1956, Vesta was a founding member of Westerville’s Song Spinners, Westerflora, and provided leadership in the Beta and Ohio Child Conservation League, Sea Gals Power Squadron Auxiliary, Professional Engineers Auxiliary, and Westerville Garden Club. Vesta and Vernon were active boaters at Hoover Reservoir and Lake Erie for decades. Beloved by the community and her church, Vesta was devoted to her husband and their family and she will be missed tremendously.
