Obituary for Ellen T. Huelf

Ellen T. Huelf, age 91, a lifelong resident of Westerville passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Ellen was a draftsperson and drew up the blueprints for many of the homes in Westerville. She was a past board member of the Ohio Garden Club and member of the National and Westerville Garden Clubs. In 2003 she was recognized for 30 years of service to the Westerville Music and Arts Festival. Ellen received the "Mildred Heter Buckingham Award for Outstanding Service". Received Flower Arranger of the Year 2000 from the National Council of State Garden Clubs She is preceded in death by her husband, James M. Huelf and parents Wilbur and Edith Tubbs. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law Dave and Donna Huelf. Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 on Monday followed by a memorial service at 2 PM Monday at HILL FUNERAL HOME. Friends may contribute in her memory to Worthington Christian Village or the Westerville Garden Club.
