Obituary for Rise Rosalie Burr

Born to Arthur and Esther Schlichter (Wilson) in Washington C.H. Ohio and was a graduate of Miami Trace High School. Rise attended Wittenberg University and went on to the Nationwide Beauty Academy where she earned her Cosmetology License and practiced for more than 30 years w/ the Holiday Beauty Salon in Bexley, OH. She was 70 years old and was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Survived by her daughter Michele Burr and son Scott (Michelle) Burr, granddaughters Marana, Gwyneth and Julia who she loved and adored and looked forward to spoiling. She had an eclectic personality and her laughter was infectious. Her smile and kind spirit will be missed. She has 1 surviving brother Dan Schlichter, 5 nephews, 2 nieces, cousins and a host of dear friends. There will be a Celebration of Her Life from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, Ohio.
