Timothy Donald Rolph, age 50 died on Monday, June 9, 2014. Born May 6, 1964 in Erie, PA, Tim graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He worked as an independent contractor who took pride in his work. Tim was a devoted husband, father and friend. He was an active member of the Westerville community, supporting his sons in their school activities. He was chief of the Y-Tribes Trailblazers and loved camping with his children and friends. Tim loved sports and followed the Pittsburgh Pirates as well as the Cleveland Browns. A former history teacher, Tim knew and loved history and during travel on family vacations, historical places were always included. He is predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Mary Lou Rolph and brother, Steven Rolph. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Lori, sons Kevin, twins Allen and Brian as well as siblings David (Becky) Rolph, Kathleen (Tim) Goldsmith both of Erie, PA; Kim McGahen of Warren, PA; Susan (Larry) Gerke of Cincinnati, OH, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was much loved by his mother and father-in-law, Sandra and Roger McPhaden as well as brother-in- law, John (Katherine) McPhaden, and sister-in-law Amy (Jeff) Ellison as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-6pm Sunday, June 15, at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 South State Street, Westerville, OH 43081. Mass of Christian Burial held10:30 a.m Monday at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 313 North State Street, Westerville, OH. Burial at Northlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Timothy Rolph Memorial Fund designed to support the educational needs of the Rolph boys. Donations accepted at any 5/3 bank location.
