Bill and Family:

I was sad to hear of Jane's passing and am sorry I missed her services. I have fond memories of you and her and your support of Jeff and Brian's participation in soccer for their school, helping to establish a tradition there that lasts to this day. I will always be most appreciative of the families that I had the pleasure to work with. May God's Promise comfort you in your loss.

Jane was born in Northampton Mass on May 9, 1941, to Charles Hobart "Hobie" and Katherine Sampson Parsons, where she and her family were active at Northampton Country Club in the summers and skiing the New England winters. After graduating from Northampton High, where she led "the Hamp High Peppy Nine' cheerleading squad, Jane attended Lasell Jr College in Newton, Mass.

While in Boston, Jane met the love of her life, William Marshall Dolbier, who was working at his Uncle Ernie's pharmacy and attending Boston University.

They married in 1961 and moved to Fort Jackson Columbia, SC where Bill served as an Officer in the US Army. It was in Columbia, SC where their oldest son, Jeffrey Alan was born. They moved to Attleboro, Mass for 3 years, where second son Brian Heath was born, before ultimately moving to Westerville, Ohio in 1967. It was there where 3rd son - Andrew Hobart was born. Jane was active raising three sons, serving with Welcome Wagon, Bowling at Westerville Lanes (Purple Team), and many summer days at Little Turtle Country Club. After getting her oldest 2 sons thru middle school, Jane took a secretary position at Blendon Middle School where she worked for 20+ years.

She and Bill enjoyed their travel adventures, Bermuda, Golf resorts, and a few weeks in Cape Cod every summer, before later "snow birding" at their Condo in Venice, FL for many winters. She is survived by her sister Virgina Hadley, husband William "Bill", sons Jeff (Angele) McDonough, GA, Brian (Julie) Loveland, OH and Andrew (Judi Pavlovich) Delaware OH, sister-in-law, Anne Parsons,  grandchildren, Zachary, Alexandra, Christopher, Nathaniel, Elise, Ryan, Rees and Eion.  great grandchildren Oliver and Sophie, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Always Best Care, Summit Hospice, and the amazing Bobb Woodruff for the dedicated, tender and loving care they provided to and for Jane (and Bill) over the last several years.
