I will miss you sweet sister so much. She had the kindest heart and was beautiful inside and out. I am happy that she is no longer suffering and is up there having a big party with her family and friends who went before her.

Obituary for Martha Habing

Martha Habing 1948-2023

Martha Habing

07/29/1948 - 12/02/2023

Martha “Martie” Kennedy Habing age 75 of Westerville Ohio

July 29th, 1948- December 2, 2023

Martha, 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away after a heroic battle with Alzheimer’s. Even though she lost many things due to Alzheimer’s, along with the ability to walk and talk, she still remembered her faith and her family. Her smile would light up a room and everyone who knew her loved her.

She was a talented artist, baker, gardener and devoted wife and mother. Before Michael’s passing, they spent their spare time together being part of many ministries at St. Paul, always learning, deepening, and sharing their Catholic faith. If she wasn’t at church, she was either in the garden or the kitchen.

Martha was born July 29th, 1948, in Cincinnati, OH to Anthony Doran and Helen DiMuzio Kennedy. She met her husband Michael A. Habing and was married January 4th, 1969.

She is survived by her three children, Andy Habing (Jaime), Kellie Habing Faust (Jason deceased 2022) and Kate Habing.

She was adored Mimi to Kerrigan, Jameson and Finnegan Habing, Brayden, and Mason Faust.

She is also survived by siblings Fran Grafemeyer (Don deceased 2005), Peggy Pellegrino (Sam) and Elaine Ellis (Billy deceased 2016)

Martha was preceded in death by her husband Michael, her sister Mary Beth Janssen (Terrill).

She will be so missed. We are all better people for knowing this kind, self-less, humble faith-filled women.
