Wanda Lou Osburn, age 89 of Westerville, OH passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2023 with family by her side and in the company of friends. She was born to the late Tressa Adkins Dalton and Sherman Baker in Branchland, WV on March 11, 1934. Wanda graduated from Wayne High School in 1952 where she met Wesley Dale Osburn. Wanda and the late Wesley were married October 8, 1953. Wanda and Wesley moved to Westerville, OH in 1963 where they continued to reside and raise their family.
Wanda is survived by her three children Pamela Joyce Osburn Schwartz (Jeffrey), Rodney Dale Osburn (Cynthia), and Jeffrey Day Osburn (Diane.) She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeremy Osburn (Kimberly), Matthew Osburn (Erin Dye), Jessica Osburn, John Osburn (Courtney Jett), Andrew Osburn (Kayla), Evan Osburn (Jordyn Remllong), Caroline Osburn (Brian Beck.) And her first great grandchild, Aster Jeanne Osburn who she was so looking forward to meeting. Wanda also cherished her step grandchildren, Jeffrey Schwartz, Jr. (Michelle), Mindy Reardon (Michael), Melissa Roy (Nathan) and great grandchildren Addi Clare, Chase and Lawson.
Wanda is survived by her sisters in-law Mary Lou Mason (Jerry), Iva Sullivan, brother in-law Thomas Sullivan (Karen) and sister Linda Gilliam. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Wesley, brother in-law James Sullivan, her parents and her parents in-law Harold and Vena Sullivan.
Wanda dearly loved the Lord, her family and her friends. God rest you in peace our sainted Mother. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hill Funeral Home, Westerville, Ohio.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 4-6 PM. A service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11:00 am at Northside Fellowship, 6841 Freeman Rd, Westerville, OH 43082 followed by burial at Blendon Central Cemetery, 6350 S Hempstead Road, Westerville. The family invite you to join them in a celebration of fellowship to remember the joy of Mother’s life immediately following the burial.
