Obituary for H. Edward "Eddie" Johnson

Johnson H. Edward "Eddie" Johnson, age 82, of Westerville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family May 1, 2014. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Member of Church of the Messiah, U.M. and member of Scioto Model A Ford Club. He enjoyed participating in events sponsored by Antique Auto Racing Association and F.A.S.T. (Ford "A" Speed Technology). Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Hope; children, Stephen A. (Millie) Johnson, Nancy A. (David Graham) Johnson, Cathy (Mark) Dennis and Neal E. Johnson; grandchildren, Michael T. Johnson, Andrew P. Johnson, Daniel J. Bender and Elizabeth Bender; five great grandchildren. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, where service will be held 1 p.m. Monday. Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Interment Burnside Cemetery. Friends may contribute in his memory to the Ohio Health Hospice.
