Condolences
Condolence From: SUSAN STEPHENSON, Hamilton, OH, OH
Condolence: My deepest sympathies on your loss. I had the honor and pleasure of teaching Stephen Ministry at The Presbyterian Church of Hamilton, Ohio to Liz during the year of 2018-19. An accomplished teacher/administrator herself, she was an excellent student: classy, gentle and soft-spoken. I remember her eyes lighting up whenever she spoke of her grandchildren. She will be missed greatly.
Condolence From: Steve Tumbleson, Hamilton, OH
Condolence: Mrs. Griffel was instrumental in hiring me as a teacher at Fairfield Middle School over twenty years ago. I am still in the district. She was an outstanding Principal that cared for her employees and students as well. She was suave and tactful handling situations and giving advice. She was always pleasant and very friendly each time we had an interaction. Mrs. Griffel was a favorite Principal of mine. I'm sorry for the loss to this family.
Condolence From: Carol Burnett, Cincinnati, Ohio
Condolence: We just heard today of Liz's death. We are so sorry. She was too young - just like Marty Burnett Miles. Our thoughts are with you.

Condolence: Liz, hired me as a first year teacher and watched over my progress for many years. She was kind and caring. She was wonderful to me and a true advocate for her students. I am truly sorry about your loss but hope that you take some solace in the understanding that her influence and memory will live on in the hearts and minds of Fairfield students and staff for years to come.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Liz. She had a direct influence on my life-she hired me at Fairfield Middle School 20 years ago. I was living in another city at the time and due to deliver my first child any day. She believed in my potential and respected my references. Moving here changed my life and I am grateful for the opportunity she gave me.

I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. Liz was far too young to leave you all. I hope the many wonderful memories you have bring you some peace and acknowledge what a wonderful and impactful life she lead. I have many memories of Liz and her family that I will cherish forever. I am a better person for having known her. May she rest in peace.
