Obituary for Josephine King

Josephine King 1934-2022

Josephine King

04/01/1934 - 10/22/2022

Josephine Alma (Mulvey) King.
Born April 1, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio.
Died peacefully October 22, 2022

Jo was a graduate of Holy Rosary High School and the Mount Carmel School of Nursing. Upon graduating Jo’s nursing career was at Mt. Carmel West Hospital until her retirement in 1996. Her life was spent caring for others, not only her patients but her Mother and sister Mary as well. Jo had the voice of an angel and enjoyed spending many years singing with the Sweet Adelines. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed telling people the fact that her birthday was April Fool’s Day and her name is Jo King. She was positively the most loving mother and grandmother there was.

Josephine was preceded in death by her dear mother Alma Koch Mulvey, father Frank Mulvey, sisters Mary Mulvey and Joan (Richard) Chaney. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Cindi (King) and Mike Bardash, granddaughter Hannah (Paul) Melcher, niece Kathy (Ron) Hipp, nephew Michael Chaney and special friends Sally Millar and Mary Ellen Miller.
