 A memorial service will be held at Sunbury Christian Church on Thursday, September 29, 2022. There will be a time to offer condolences to the family from 4:00 - 5:00 and then the service will follow.

Daniel (Dan) Jay Distelhorst, 73, a proud retired veteran of the Navy, passed away on September 18, 2022. Dan was the son of Orville J. Distelhorst and Amanda (Ruth) Distelhorst-Cromer. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from Westerville High School. Dan was survived by his wife of 55 years, Connie Distelhorst, and his two daughters, Tonya (Brian) Cubbage and Amy (Brian) Smith. He was also the proud grandfather of Nathan, Andrew, Kaylee Cubbage; Daniel, Eliana Smith. He also leaves behind his siblings William (Bill) Distelhorst, Bruce Cromer, and Jim Cromer. Dan retired from AT&T with 30 years of service. He had a great love for golf and could be found with his golf league friends on the course each week.
