Friends may call 9:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 13, 2022 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State St., Westerville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Our Lady of ConsolationWounded WarriorsSpecial Olympics, and Priest of the Sacred Heart Wisconsin.

What a great guy. I remember that he played Santa for the civic association and visited my house and talked to both my boys when they were 5. Known him a long time. He was a people person and always tried to better the neighborhood.

Arthur Blackburn passed away on Saturday August 6th 2022. Arthur, “Artie/Arturo, Papa, Dad was born in New York City on August 15th 1947. He was a Bronx kid at heart! He met and fell in love with Joanne Zeising from the Bronx block! They have been married for over 51 years. Artie has two sons Brent and Scot along with 12 grandchildren. He was a proud grandparent that happily served his grandchildren as much as possible. He will be remembered for his wonderful karaoke singing voice and his passion for connecting with people! He never met a stranger! In addition, his love for making spaghetti and meatballs will go unrivaled! He passed on his gifts to all of his grandchildren. He was a Godly man and a faithful Catholic! He volunteered with the church and loved every minute! His generous and fun loving demeanor was felt by all that met him. Thank you for your dedication to family, friends and our country! We love you Papa! God Speed!
