Obituary for Larry Groves

Larry E. Groves, 76, of Reynoldsburg, died Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Born March 22, 1946, in Columbus, he was a son of Howard and Pauline (Kernes) Groves. Larry retired from White Feather Farms of Ohio. He enjoyed golfing and watching golf on television, spending time with family, and playing euchre with anyone who would sit down with him (as long as they could play).

He is survived by his children, Christene M. (Brian) Bain, Paul A. (Tracie) Groves, and Michael A. (Jennifer) Groves; his granddaughters Lauryn Groves, Ava Groves, Alayna Groves and Claire Groves; his brother, Robert L. Groves;  his sister-in-law, Virginia Groves; his brother-in-law, James A. (Pierrette) Pena, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John E. “Jack” Groves, and Garry A. Groves; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Groves and Patricia Groves.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Laurels of Worthington for the care they provided.

Visitation will be held 1 to 2:30 PM, August 1, 2022 at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville followed by services at 2:30 PM Monday.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or your charity of choice.
