Condolences

Condolence From: Glenn Bowers, Lansing, MI
Condolence: I am heartbroken at the loss of my old friend Tim, and my inability to attend the celebration of his life. I hold only wonderful memories of the college years, especially on Clemens St., and the infrequent times we were able to get together after that (thanks to Ramon). The world will be a much sadder place without Tim in it.

Condolence From: Bill Gergely, North Royalton, Ohio
Condolence: I met Tim in first grade at Wallings Elementary School. While we went through 12 years of school together, he was always a guy who I admired for his incredible intelligence and seemingly always positive attitude. Even though we weren’t best friends and didn’t stay in touch after high school, 48 years of “social distance” doesn’t fade my memory of Tim being a great guy. My sincere condolences to Peggy and the family.

Condolence From: Ted Sinks, Delaware, Ohio
Condolence: Tim saved my life. I’ve known and been friends with Tim for 40+ years. He became my salesman when I started Quaker Homes. Selling everything we could produce. I joined his poker games and he joined my poker games, held monthly, for the past 10 years. He usually won. Tim worked with my wife at Sandusky Street Antiques, every Thursday, as a buyer of gold, silver, and jewelry. Janet would typically leave Tim and I to close the store the last open hour, and Tim and I would routinely spend that last hour entertaining customers and swapping stories well past closing time. I loved the comradeship The day Covid hit I lost my mind, and spent the next 8 months in severe mental distress. I mostly avoided everyone as my anxiety and depression increased. I also lost the ability to play my favorite sport, golf, when I tore my rotator cuff in my left shoulder. As I gradually healed, both mental and physical, I could not avoid Tim. He was there to help boast me up. He brought me into his standing golf game with my now good friend Don, and I have never looked back. Tim, Don, other friends & I enjoyed countless good and bad golf rounds this past 1.5 years. I can’t begin to explain Tim’s contribution to my overall mental health and thus my return to a great life. Thank you Tim for everything you are to me, your family, and everyone you met.

Condolence: With Tim’s loss goes a piece of my heart. He taught me to be open minded and always care about others point of view. He taught me to always find a smile no matter what and never stop following your dreams. I will miss you and carry the memories of your hugs and smiles forever.

Condolence: I knew Tim through the antique jewelry trade and learned so much from him, not just about jewelry, but about courage, optimism, and compassion. He died way too young . My deepest sympathy to his wife, children and mother.

Condolence: What a loss, Tim was a great guy. We loved his stories, and his knowledge of antiques was deep. We loved going over for some wine and cheese, sitting on the porch smoking a cigar.
We offer our condolences to his family. We along with the community will miss him.
