Obituary for Arminta Mae Stickney

Arminta Mae Stickney 1933-2021

Arminta Mae Stickney

08/22/1933 - 09/03/2021

Arminta Mae Stickney, 88 entered into her home with God on Friday September 3rd while in the loving care of her family. Arminta was born to Marlyn Dwight and Gladys Pearl Adams on August 22, 1933. She graduated from Reynoldsburg High School and was a carhop at Van’s Drive-In where she met her devoted husband of nearly 68 years, William (Bill). Being a loving mother and grandmother was her heart and her world. She loved flowers, crocheting and puzzles. Unanimously acknowledged to be the most sweet, non judgemental, and generous human by her family, friends and essentially everyone fortunate enough to have met her, Arminta (Mom/Grandma/Gigi/Nanny/Dom Mitz) possessed a knowing smile that made you feel safe and loved.
Arminta is preceded in death by her parents as well as her brothers Vincent and Marlyn. Her loving spirit survives in her husband William Stickney, children Dean (Sandy) Stickney, Diana (Pete) Garst and Cheryl (Steve) Dunn, grandchildren Shannon Stickney (Bruce), Heath Stickney, Corie (Eric) Smetana, Cassandra Dunn, Brendan (Julie) Garst, Kristin (Alan) Almonte and Seth (Kindra) Dunn and great grandchildren Jack & Whitney Burt and Maelyn & Anessa Smetana.
“The Good Lord has watched over us in so many ways and Our Love is strong as ever. So please know when I go we have been truly Blessed by God and love for each other.”
