Obituary for Ramona Wilke

Ramona J. Wilke, daughter of Robert J. & Christine Pochard passed peacefully surrounded by her family who adored her.

She is survived by Roger Wilke, her husband of 59 years, her sons Roger Wilke Jr. (Cathy), Steven Wilke (Whitney), Mark Wilke (Cymbeline), and daughter and best friend, Audra Mangini. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren who she loved dearly: Allison, Courtney, Laura, Kennedy, Ally, Nathan, Jack, Sydnee, Cassie, Katie, Max, and Piper.

She was born in Hamilton, Ohio and attended St. Veronica’s Catholic Elementary School and Notre Dame Catholic High School. After moving to Columbus, Ohio she was very active in raising her children and volunteering her time to help others. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Westerville, Ohio. She was generous, thoughtful and dedicated to her family. Her true joy was making the holidays special for everyone. She created many traditions and memories that each of her family members will cherish. She will be missed immensely by all who knew her. She bravely battled Parkinson’s disease the last eight years of her life and did so with dignity.
