Obituary for Carolyn Jones

Carolyn Marie Klitzing Jones, 91 of Westerville, passed away January 29, 2021.

She was born September 17, 1929 in Decatur, Illinois and graduated from Stephen Decatur High School in Decatur, Illinois She also graduated from William Woods College in Fulton, Missouri Carolyn married the late Walter P. Jones August 7, 1949 and was married 66 years. She was a member of Church of the Messiah United Methodist Church prior to locating back to Illinois (in 1996).

Survived by her 4 children, Marc D (Jean) Jones, William A. (Cheryl) Jones, Cynthia C. (Larry-Deceased) Minor, and Daniel W. (Betsy) Jones. 7 grandchildren, Trevor Jones, Bradley (Carly) Jones, Bethany Jones, Chad (Lisa) Minor, Molly Maurer, Scott Jones, and Lauren Jones. And 6 Great Grandchildren.

Family funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at HILL FUNERAL HOME, Westerville. Burial will take place in Altamont, Il.

There will also be a live stream of the service available on Hill Funeral Home’s Youtube Channel.
