Obituary for Charlene Mae Stingel

Charlene May (Ringwalt) Stingel, 90, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 12, 2020. She was born March 20, 1930, in New Castle, Ohio to Harry and Seconva (Fisher) Ringwalt.

She is survived by son, Curt (April) Stingel; 4 grandchildren, Ashley Stingel, Mathew (Tashena) Stingel, Abbey Stingel, Cody (Nicole) Stingel; 4 great-grandchildren, Haylee, Makenna, Avery, and Hudson; brothers John and Harry Ringwalt; Bonnie Stingel (daughter-in-law) and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 60 years Karl Stingel and son Chris Stingel; sister, Geraldine (Ringwalt) Ashcraft and brother, Jim Ringwalt.

She was a stay at home mother and grandmother for many years and enjoyed square-dancing, traveling, and most of all spending time with her family. After retirement she and Karl enjoyed spending the cold winters in Florida for many years. She was a former long time member of All Saints Lutheran Church of Lewis Center, Ohio.
