Coleman "Coke" Coyne

Coleman (Coke) Charles Coyne, 79, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania died peacefully at the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on November 16, 2019.
Coke is survived by his wife Carol of 57 years, daughters Tammy (Coyne) Loftus and husband Doug, Cherie Marie Coyne, son Charles Joseph Coyne and wife Becky, and five loving granddaughters, Cassie, Kenzie, Emily, Cally and Maggie. Coke is also survived by his brother John Coyne, along with nieces, nephews and extended family. Coleman was a loving father, husband, grandfather, uncle and friend to everyone.
Coke’s love for his family was unconditional. He was a man of great character and a role model for all. He worked at AT&T for over 30 years as an installer, a supervisor and later became a well-respected instructor. Afterwards, he worked for Lucent Technologies and Applied Innovations. Finally, Coke worked at Home Depot for over 15 years. Coke enjoyed spending quality time with his wife Carol. Coke was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects, assist customers at work, or whatever else people needed him for.
A special thank you to the people at Mount Carmel Hospice in Westerville, Ohio for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Hill Funeral Home & Crematory for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 13th at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Westerville, Ohio. Service will begin at 10:30am. A luncheon will be held immediately afterwards in the reception hall.
