Obituary for Charles Cheadle

Charles "Charlie" Cheadle, 70, passed peacefully in his sleep while at his home in Ocala, Florida on Sunday, November 10, 2019.

Charlie was born June 24, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio and was a lifelong Ohio resident until retirement, when he was then able to divide his time between his homes in Logan, Ohio and Ocala, Florida. He spent his professional career as an Industrial Sales Manager with both Georgia Pacific and Weyerhaeuser and in retirement was an active member of his church and enjoyed traveling. Charlie was known for his sense of humor and found his greatest joy was in making others laugh.

He is survived by his companion Adelia Hupp, daughter Amy (Cheadle) Roush, son-in-law Eric Roush, grandsons Zachary and Samuel Roush, brother Paul Ruhl, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Quincy Adams Cheadle and Nellie Frances Rockwell, wife Mary Ann (Louck) Cheadle, brother Gary Cheadle and sister Connie Sue (Cheadle) McClurg.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Hill Funeral Home in Westerville, Ohio. Lifelong friend Pastor Nathan Pelfrey will officiate. Burial will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Westerville, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the Hill Funeral Home in Westerville from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
