Very sorry to hear of brother Ken's passing. He was one of the best guys that I ever had the opportunity to work with in our railroad craft and with the union.

 Kenneth Lynn Beamer passed away peacefully on September 14, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Kenny was born to Patricia (Osborn) and Kenneth Beamer on October 10, 1949 in Dennison, Ohio. Kenny graduated from Claymont High School in Uhrichsville, OH class of 1967.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory are his loving wife of 42 years, Karla (Johnson) Beamer and four married children, Kathy (Robert) Rider, Land O Lakes, FL, Kim (Brad) Kohl, Mount Vernon, OH, Kevin (Ashley) Beamer, Lewis Center, OH and Kendra (Josue) De La Cruz, Newark, OH; Kenny’s pride and joy: his six grandchildren, Morgan, KJ, Poppy, Alexis, Haddi and Hannah; His three sisters, Sandi Hinkle, Dianne (Dean) Renicker, Debbie Swiney all of New Philadelphia, OH; His Mother-in-law and Father-in-law Doris (Schaffner) and Ron Johnson, Westerville, OH; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law Keith (Cheryl) Johnson, Lewis Center, OH; Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law Kyna (Andy) Shindle, Cardington, OH; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Kenny retired from the railroad with 47 years of service at Pennsylvania Railroad, Penn Central, Conrail and CSX. He was in the Boy Scouts of America and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Blendon Lodge #339 F&AM, American Legion #171, NRA, and Delaware County Model Railroad Club. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, model railroading, farming, wood carving, and riding his Harley with his Honey.

A visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday, September 17, 2019, 4 to 7 PM at Westerville Church of the Nazarene, 355 Cherrington Rd, Westerville, OH 43081. A Masonic Service will follow at 7:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Westerville Church of the Nazarene.
