Condolence: Dear Olson Family - I am sorry for your loss. I only knew Mark briefly as a fellow colleague of Huntington. We would walk in together in the mornings, and he was always first to greet me with a "Hey Donna" and a big smile. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4

Condolence: Mark and I worked together when I ran GreenPoint Mortgage. He was a great co-worker, a pleasure to be around and a wonderful manager to his team. I remember we wanted to promote him and the new job would require travel. He stated to me he preferred to stay in his existing role so he could be with his family and be part of his children life as they grew up. He was a dedicated family man and will be missed by the GreenPoint Mortgage family.

Condolence: Our deepest prayers and condolences to Beth and family. Mark was a true friend during our Saginaw days and the Best Man in our wedding in 1987. He was always a humble leader, saw the positive and humor in all situations, treated everyone with such respect and love and ready to jump in and help his friends and family. Of course we all know what a sports man he was too!! I’m sure he was the best husband and dad as he was the greatest of friend to us . We grieve with you and are confident of God’s promise he’s in heaven and we will see him again. Love and prayers. Tom and Tammy

Condolence: Mark and I were close friends in high school. Although we didn’t stay in touch over recent years, I will always cherish the good times we had at Eisenhower and Delta. We had a lot of laughs, at times to the point of tears and not being able to breathe. He had a great sense of humor, was a loyal friend liked by all, and he will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, and may they find strength and comfort in the memories of how Mark lived. I find peace in knowing that our time here is so short, and that we one day are reunited with those we love for eternity. See you later my friend.

Condolence: Spent grades K - 12 attending school with Mark. I remember Mark as a kind and humble person, with a gentle soul. Mark took a liking to most people who walked along his path. As a fellow Commander from the class of 1978, you will stay in the heart and souls of those of us who had the pleasure of being schooled under the IKE domes and classrooms with no walls.
