 Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Westerville on Friday, May 31, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception. Fr. David Gwinner Celebrant.  Private family burial at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date. 

My profound condolences to the Yopko family for their loss. I remember Robert as a very generous and compassionate man, I was privileged to be in a very small part of his life and I will always treasure that. His love for all things Ohio State and fishing were unmatched.

Robert Michael Yopko, age 84, of Westerville, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019.

He was born October 16, 1934 and married for 54 years to his love, Nancy, who preceded him in death. Beloved father of Betty (David) Weibel of Chagrin Falls, Bob Jr. (Barbara) of Chelsea, Mich., and Mike, of Westerville; Loving grandfather of Claire and Bobby, as well as Aubree and Ryan, and brother of Connie of Euclid. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jane, and brother, Michael, as well as his parents Stella and Michael.

Bob graduated from Euclid High School before attending Bowling Green University. He was an active supporter of St. Gabriel Radio, Mt. Carmel Foundation Hospice, WARM (Westerville Area Resource Ministry), and others. He was a lover of polka music and a longtime fan of The Ohio State University. While family and church were always his priority, Bob also had a long business career. He served on numerous Boards of Directors and held leadership positions with Diebold, Inc., Liebert Corporation and Liebert Global Services, and Emerson Electric Company.

Memorial mass at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Westerville on Friday, May 31, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception. Fr. David Gwinner Celebrant. Private family burial at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of cards or flowers, donations are suggested to WARM.
