Obituary for Sharon Heatherly Wollam

Sharon Marlene Wollam, 60, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at St. Ann’s Hospital after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, D. Albert Heatherly, her mother, Jerlyn Heatherly, and brother Albert Wayne Heatherly.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Timothy, sons David and Michael, sister Freda Anderson (Teddy), brother Ernest Heatherly, a large extended family and many friends. Sharon was raised in Dayton Ohio and lived in Westerville for many years. She was a long-time employee of St. Ann’s hospital, and most recently held the position of Regulatory Specialist at Mt Carmel Health. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, excellent nurse and mentor, and leaves behind many who were touched by her throughout her life.

Family will receive friends 2 to 5 PM Saturday, January 26, 2019 at HILL FUNERAL HOME, Westerville. There will also be visitation at Cross Funeral Home in LaFollette, TN on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 11 am to 1 pm, with funeral services beginning at 1 pm followed by interment immediately after. I

n lieu of flowers, contributions in Sharon’s name may be made to the Mount Carmel Foundation, the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, or the Zangmeister Cancer Center.
