Obituary for Geneva Stewart

Geneva Stewart 1949-2018

Geneva Stewart

08/31/1949 - 08/02/2018

Geneva (Brewer) Stewart died peacefully at home on August 2 in Westerville, Ohio at the age of 68.

After an eleven year battle with cancer, the world has lost a beautiful, strong, amazing woman and heaven has gained an angel.

Greeted in heaven by her mother, father and nephew. Survived by her loving partner Roy Robertson, her sons Matthew (Michele) Stewart, Darrek, Drew, Kyle (Kimmy) Robertson, daughter Erin (Joshua) Miller, sisters Donna (Bill) Albers, Jeaneen Hamlett, Kelly Ciprian, brother Richard (Linda) Kraemer, 9 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She taught us to love unconditionally. We will miss her loving smile but know that she will always be in our hearts.

If life gets hard or you find yourself in pain she would tell you “This too shall pass” and “You mustn’t worry about the things you can’t control”. Other sayings that we often heard her say were: “I love you so so very much” and of course “Go BUCKS!”

Geneva loved everyone she met. She treated everyone with respect. To know her is to love her and be loved in return. She was a mother to all – to her AAA Ohio Auto Club family and her children’s and grandchildren’s friends.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, www.bcrf.org  in her memory.

A celebration of life will be held at later date for family and friends.
