Obituary for Keith Carrier

Keith Allen Carrier passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 7, 2018 from cancer complications. He fought a long hard battle for 4 years with dignity.  He was 63 years old. He is predeceased by his father, Paul F. Carrier. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved mother, IdaMae Carrier, loving son Paul (Rebecca) Carrier, granddaughters Olivia and Addison Carrier, grateful sisters Paula (James) Thistlewaite and Donna (Mark) Sherrard, niece Sarah (Brian Davey) Thistlewaite, great niece Rosalie Davey, niece Melissa (Thomas White) Sherrard, nephew Charles B. Sherrard, several cousins and many friends.  He served his country joining the United States Army after high school, training at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Research Facility, in Edgewood, Maryland.  He used his Veterinary Technician training to help others through his work as trainer at Pilot Dogs, Inc., training dogs to aid the visually impaired.  The family would like to thank the staff of Veterans Homeland at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center for their wonderful care of Keith. Visiting hours will be held at Hill Funeral Home, 220 S.
