Obituary for Robert Hagerdorn

Robert Dale Hagerdorn, age 79, of Westerville, Ohio, left this earthly life and went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Minnie Hagerdorn, brothers Herman and Lee and sister Patricia Millburg. He is survived by his loving wife, Emilie, sons Mark (Pamela), Barry and Steven (Elise). Also grandchildren Aaron (Ashley), Tiffany, Tyler (Allison), Payton, Bryn, J J, Nathan, Emma, Jacob. Great-grandchildren Chase, Ryan, Addie, Cora. Many nieces and nephews. Bob was a salesman extraordinaire and never met a stranger. He was very devoted to his family. Volunteering was his way of life when health allowed and he loved to golf and go RVing. He was a long time member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Columbus. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 4-7 pm at Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State St., Westerville. On Thursday, May 31, at 10 am will be a private inurnment at Northlawn Memory Garden, Westerville. A memorial service for all will follow at 11 am at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 35 E Stanton Ave., Columbus, Pastor June Wilkins officiating. A luncheon will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gethsemane Lutheran Church or Habitat for Humanity.
