Obituary for Everette Lee Fox

Everette L. Fox, 86 of Columbus passed away peacefully at the cabin he loved. Over 50 year resident of Minerva Park. The only child of Alleta and Ray Fox. He was born October 25, 1930 in White Sulphur Springs, WV. He was a builder of mostly custom homes, renovated the Southern Hotel with Charles Bonner. He served in the Navy aboard USS Saipan CVL-48. Everette is preceded in death by his wife Joyce, son Steven Sr and parents Alleta and Ray. Survived by son David of Florida; grandchildren Steven Jr. (Natalie) and Angelia (Murad) Holliday; great grandchildren Zachery Allen Fox, Haley Elizabeth Fox and Camren Murad Holliday, daughter-in-law Bonnie; and long time friend Erma Griesdorn.  Friends may call 4 to 7 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at HILL FUNERAL HOME with additional calling hours 4 to 6 PM Friday at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs. Interment 1 PM Saturday at Hoke Chapel Cemetery, Callaghan, VA. Friends may contribute in his memory the Mt. Carmel Hospice.
