Arrangements

Funeral services will be held at Hill Funeral Home in Westerville Ohio at 1pm following a showing from 11am-1pm.    Pastor  Dan Green will officiate.   Interment will follow at the Green Mound Cemetery in Kilborne Ohio.      A fellowship luncheon will follow immediately following the interment at the Brown Township Hall in Kilborne Ohio

 Householder, Ronald Wayne,age 66, of Westerville Ohio, passed peacefully in his sleep on Thursday,June 2 2022, into the arms of His Lord and Savior,Jesus, following a long and courageous battle against Cardiovascular disease that had caused complications since his early 20’s.     
                                                                     
He was born in Columbus Ohio on June 5, 1955 and resided in Mogadore Ohio, Forest Acres South Carolina,Westerville Ohio, West Palm Beach Florida and back to Westerville Ohio for the rest of his life. 
While residing in Florida in tha 70’s he was able to land a walk on tryout with 2 Major League Baseball Teams as a pitcher and once pitched against the great Dave Parker at a Pittsburgh Pirate tryout.  Ron always said that the 3rd pitch he threw against Parker hasn’t come back down to Earth yet. Shortly afterwards Ron developed Scleroderma which ended his athletic hopes.  Ron was an avid fisherman earning several Ohio award pins. Ron was an owner-trainer of harness race horses while not working his job as a foreman for 2 companies that built gasoline service stations his whole career.                               
 
  He is survived by his brothers Gary (Stacy)  Tom (Andrea) and sister Kim Mault along with Several aunts, uncles nephews and nieces Ron was especially close to his friend Gina Heiser his Aunt Verna and Judy.
