Condolences

Condolence From: Barbara Martin, Columbus, OH
Condolence: Cathie,
Judy Christian was looking at some old photos of mine, and when she saw you and Bruce in one, she mentioned that he died a couple of months ago. I had not heard. I am so sorry. He was such a warm, loving guy. I am sure you must miss him terribly. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I am living at Westerwood (used to be Friendship Village of Columbus) now. If there is anything I can do, please let me know.

Condolence: Oh Cathie,
I'm heartbroken to learn of Bruce's passing. Behind as always, I'm just now learning of this. I'm so very sorry for this loss. The thing I always think of when I remember Bruce is his ready and easy smile. He was truly a kind, gentle, caring man, who was always ready with a joke or a funny story. The two of you were an amazing couple and together you brought so much goodness into this world. We are all better because Bruce was here with us for so long. Holding you in love and prayer on this day that would have been his birthday.

Condolence: Dear Cathie (Tigger and Baby Roo). I was sorry to hear about Bruce’s passing. I was in his unit at the Bureau he made work fun. He called me Agnes and answered all of my questions. Once I was making dandelion wine and he brought one of your boys to help me pick dandelions. He was a friend and a good guy.

Condolence From: Jerry and Susan Brown, Westerville, Ohio
Condolence: Our love and condolences go to Cathie, Tim, Todd and their entire family on the loss of this dear and unique man. Bruce and Cathie founded and led our Sunday School Class, New Beginnings, for many years. We knew Bruce as a close and beloved friend, sharing dinners out (especially on "free pie night"). Bruce's seemingly endless good cheer and quick wit lifted the spirits in every gathering. He met medical challenges with faith and intelligence. Oh my! He will be missed! With much love, Susan and Jerry Brown

Condolence: Bruce was a special person. I worked with him and we were good friends for many years. What made him so special is he always saw the good in people. He was a kind soul and I will miss his stories and his laugh. I am certain that he talked St Peter's ears off while walking thru the pearly gates. He will be missed by many!

Condolence: I worked with- and for- Bruce for many years at BDD. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor, and the office felt a big void when he retired.

Condolence: Cathie and family, our hearts are heavy as we share your loss of a true gentleman, gentle man, friend, and always a purveyor of fine jokes and good humor. Bruce was never at a loss for words as he would relate historical facts and figures that we were not aware of, and sometimes didn't care about. I know the guys and I loved him as the founder and "President" of our ROMEO group! Rest in peace dear friend, and we hope you told a good story as you entered the pearly gates to receive your ultimate reward.

Bruce was such an inquisitive person who had a real zest for life along with a great knowledge of history. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and we always had so much fun with him. He was a great guy and a wonderful friend!! Our thoughts and prayers go out to Cathie and the rest of the family during this difficult time.
