I met Joe in the door industry 30 plus years ago. We served as board members for the International Door association where we spent memorable times together in Maui, San Francisco, Boston, ect. He would attend all our New England trade shows and make a point to stop by my home to visit my wife Celeste and I. We would often go for dinner and sample fine wine or take in a local gun show. He was a friend that you would die for because you knew he’d do the same for you. He will be greatly missed!

Obituary for Joseph Earwood

Joseph Earwood 1956-2021

Joseph Earwood

08/25/1956 - 12/29/2021

Joseph Alan Earwood was born August 25th, 1956, in Rome, Georgia to parents Alan and Peggy. Joseph is survived by his three sons, Dallas, Drue, and Derek, and his two sisters Cindy and Shelly.

Joe began his career in the garage door industry at a young age. He started as an installer and worked his way through the ranks holding different positions in sales, management, and engineering. He ultimately was named the National Sales and Marketing Manager for Napoleon Spring works and held that position until the end of his career.

He loved all things fast and flashy. He was known for his love of cars, specifically corvettes, motorcycles, and fancy watches, among other things. He was always ready to give someone a ride or show them a good time because he loved people and making them smile. Everyone always said Joe had the biggest heart, and that’s most likely because he had so many friends who loved him so much. I don’t think anyone would argue that he lived life to the fullest. He will be truly missed by so many.
