Ben R. Vann, age 90, of Westerville, OH, peacefully passed away November 14, 2021 with loving family by his side. 

Ben was born and raised in Buffalo, TX. He was employed by International Harvester/Navistar Financial in accounting and finance. He started with the company in Dallas, transferred to Kansas City and then moved to Columbus in 1974. He retired from Navistar Financial in 1988 after 35 years of service. Ben was an avid gardener and active member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Westerville, OH.

 

Preceded in death by parents Jodie and Alyne (Davis) Vann and brothers, James Vann and Thomas Vann.

Survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Karen Vann; daughter Kristin Larrimer (Mark) and grandchildren Mia and Miles of Upper Arlington, OH; daughter Deborah Jones of Saint Cloud, MN, and grandchildren Angelina, Anna, Daniel and Nathan; son Scott Houston, of Houston, TX; sister Linda Furl (Barton) of Waco, TX; and many nieces and nephews.
