Obituary for Geraldine Murray

Geraldine (Gerry) Murray, age 96, of Dayton, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021.  

 

Formerly from Columbus, Gerry was preceded in death by husband William Murray, sister Georgia Pritchard and daughter Bonnie Beaven.  She is survived by her loving family, sister Betty Shepherd, son-in-law Dennis Beaven, granddaughters Krista (Eric) Eisenman and Lori (Thomas) Lyons, great-grandson Hunter Lyons and many nieces and nephews.  

 

Gerry was a member of Normandy United Methodist Church and Women's Group in Dayton. “Grams” loved spending time with family and friends, was an avid reader and lover of history and camping at Lake Erie.  

 

Friends may call 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, November 5th at Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State St., Westerville where services will be held at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Blendon Central Cemetery.  A memorial service will be held at Normandy United Methodist Church, 450 W. Alex Bell Rd., Dayton, 45459 on Monday, November 8 at 11:00 a.m.  

 

In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute in her memory to Normandy United Methodist Church of Dayton, Ohio.
