Obituary for Eileen Ellen Erbaugh

 Eileen Ellen Erbaugh age 99, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Danbury Parkside Senior Living Community.

She was born in Trotwood, Ohio, on July 3, 1922, to Albert and Susie (Conover) Heeter. She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel; sister Alice Campbell; son, Jerry; sons-in-law, Don Filbrun and Jon Kerschner.

She is survived by daughters, Sue Filbrun and Christa (Randy) Osborne; daughter-in-law, Linda Erbaugh; grandchildren, Joe(Melinda) Filbrun, Betsy (Jeff)Addy; April (Steve) Clute; Joni (Keith) Burns; Mike (Rachel) Kerschner; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She attended Trotwood HS and married Sam in 1946. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren all of her life. She loved to cook, especially for her family. She was an excellent seamstress and loved doing handwork and at age 60 began making quilts. Her generosity and caring extended beyond her family to many others around her, always willing to be of help.

Many thanks to the staff at Parkside who took loving care of her and became her second family.

She was a very special mother and grandma, loved by her family. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 3, 2021 at HILL FUNERAL HOME.
