Obituary for Mary Wenzell

Mary Ellen Wenzell, age 96, of Westerville passed away peacefully Monday, 8/23/2021. A resident of Westerwood, she was a 1941 graduate of Allentown High School and attended Wilson College. She married Navy pilot, Richard M. Wenzell, who preceded her in death (12/25/1986). She is survived by four sons. Richard (Penny) Wenzell of Reston, VA, James (Janet) Wenzell of Westerville, OH, Ronald (Beth) Wenzell of Bay Village, OH, and Phillip (Gloria) Wenzell of Xenia, OH.

Mary Ellen Wenzell had 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Hill Funeral Home, 220 South State Street, Westerville on Saturday, 8/28/2021: 9:30 am visitation and 10:30 am Memorial Service. Chaplain Betsy Maurath from Westerwood officiating. Internment at Blendon Central Cemetery. You may donate to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society in lieu of flowers.
