My prayers and thoughts are being lifted to God in the celebration of Genny. She was an amazing and gifted lady - beautiful on the inside and out. I will hold many memories in my heart of her kind, generous and welcoming spirit. I am sure she will be missed by her wonderful family, especially her four daughters. Sending my love to you all.

Genevieve Osborn, age 90, of Westerville, Ohio passed away on June 11th , 2021 surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents Grace (Lash) and Earnest Tobin; beloved in-laws Harold and Nola Osborn and Helen Osborn; beloved husband and high school sweetheart of 59 years Harold (Ozzie) Osborn Jr.; brother Grover (Joann) Tobin; sisters Alice (Ralph) Pfahler, Aldora (Frank) Wechter; sisters in-law Roberta and Joyce. Genny is survived by daughters Linda (Bruce) Killinger, Debbie (Eric) Thompson, Becky (Jim) Sullivan, and Julie (Paul) Cariglio; sister in-law Dorthea Heiden; Grandchildren Bryan (Kathy), Scott (Valerie), Kyle Killinger, McKenzie (Jimmy) Strubank, Maddie (Christian) Lautenschleger, Cody Thompson, Ashely (Robbie) Bourgeois, Corey (Ashley) Sullivan, Cody Wells, Haley Sullivan, Cory (Mallory), Tyler, and Logan Cariglio; Great grandchildren: Bella, Zoey, Collin, Cassandra, Isla, June, Coralee, Bear, and Nixon; And many nieces and nephews.

Genny was a graduate of New Washington Highschool. After high school, she worked as a switchboard operator for Galion Iron Works before becoming a full-time homemaker. Later on, she worked at Society Bank and Brownies Market. She loved working as a receptionist at Taylor, Day, Reich and Yoest DDS. for over 25 years until retiring at age 85 and considered them family. She was a member of Church of the Master for over 65 years and loved to sing in the choir. Music was her passion and she loved to sing. Over the years, she was a member of Song Spinners of Westerville for 30 years, North American Chorus, Vaud-Villities, sang many solos and duets, and sang for many weddings and events. She had a beautiful, angelic voice. She was also a talented and creative seamstress who created custom gowns for her four daughters. She also designed and sewed costumes for the Song Spinners. She loved her neighbors, family and friends and took pride in creating a home for all. She was known for her fabulous pies. She was generous and kind to everyone she met. Her smile brought joy to everyone who knew her.

Together, Genny and Ozzie lived a life of adventure and love that lasted a lifetime. They left behind a legacy of the kind of life their children and grandchildren aspire to. Our family will follow their example for lifetimes to come.
