Timothy David Stember, who resided in St. Petersburg, Florida, passed on December 13, 2020. He was 64 years old and born in Columbus, Ohio, on January 26, 1956. He was named Timothy since he was born on St. Timothy’s feast day.
He is survived by his sister Shauna Suzanne (Mark) Williams, his brother, Anthony Patrick (Victoria) Stember, five living nieces and nephew, and many other related family members. Tim also leaves behind many friends he made throughout his life.
Preceding before him is his mother, the late Frances Joan-Jo Stember, his brother, Michael Lawrence Stember, and one nephew.
Tim graduated from Westerville South in Autobody Custom Painting with his advanced artistic abilities and passion. He was an award-winning custom auto-body painter for corvettes in his early years. Tim worked with numerous dealerships and private garages throughout his career and also worked for Windjammer Cruise Lines ships. He also took college-level art classes in Columbus, Ohio, and was an avid painter; his favorites paintings were always of the beach. Tim was a carefree and comical character. He enjoyed his many friends always striking up an interesting conversation and shared funny stories about his life and travels. His creations included restoring old boats, and one of his personal restorations, he enjoyed setting it out to sail. He will be greatly missed.
