In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations to be made to one of Barb’s favorite charities, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in her name.

Met her playing cards at the Shark Tank. She was a very lovely lady and a good card player. I didn't like being at her table she seemed to always get the best of me. Sorry for you loss she will be missed at the Shark Tank as well.

Obituary for Barbara Fogle

Barbara Fogle 1936-2020

Barbara Fogle

10/09/1936 - 11/14/2020

Barbara “Barb” Ann Fogle, our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away surrounded by her family on November 14th, 2020 at the age of 84.

She was born to George and Sadie Joseph in Niagara Falls, New York and was the second of three daughters. She married James (Jim) Fogle on May 6th, 1961. They had one daughter, Anita, and lived in multiple locations before settling down in Westerville, Ohio. Barb had a rewarding career that included employment with the United States Air Force, Gold Circle and successfully running her own company, ABS Bookkeeping Services.

Everyone who knew Barb knows that she absolutely loved her family, traveling, and playing cards. During her lifetime, Barb had the chance to visit nearly every state in the US as well as countless countries. She loved a good cruise, especially the unforgettable family cruise of 1994. Barb hosted Christmas at her home for nearly 40 years and cherished nothing more than enjoying quality time, and a great Lebanese meal with her family. Nobody will ever forget Barb’s infamous rice dish that made its appearance at (almost) every family gathering.

Barb was the sweetest “Card Shark” there was. She innocently held the best conversations with her competitors at the tables, before taking all of their chips. Barb adored all of her friends in her card groups, her Mahjong groups, and of course her second family at the Shark Tank Poker Club.

Think of her whenever you have an ace of spades in your hand.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim, parents, George and Sadie, and sisters, Evelyn and Loretta. Barb is survived by her daughter Anita (Matt) Riehl; grandchildren Katie (Trevan) Dick, Joseph (Payton) Riehl and Jack Riehl; niece Debbie (Bob) Troisi; nephews Bobby (Sharon) Beach and AJ (Alison) McPherson, along with several great-nieces and nephews.

A private ceremony will be held for immediate family. Plans are being made for a celebration of life to be held on her birthday next year, October 9th. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations to be made to one of Barb’s favorite charities, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in her name.
