Obituary for Rebecca Kaiser

On Sunday, November 8, 2020, Rebecca Kaiser, loving mother of two children and grandmother of three, passed away at the age of 56.

Beckey was born on July 21, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio to Catherine Vorus and Richard Derenberger.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine and father, Richard. She is survived by her children Samantha (Jason) Lozano and James (Elizabeth) Hustead, her grandchildren Cameron, Caiden and Collin Lozano, her siblings Toby (Doug) Meade, James Meade, Mary Dobbins, Richard (Mindy) Salyers, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Beckey was passionate about her family and was incredibly proud of the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with family and friends. She knew no stranger and could have a conversation with anyone. She had a big heart and a great sense of humor. A conversation with her was guaranteed to end with a laugh and a story about one of her boys. Her biggest pride and joy were her grandchildren. Even when life became difficult for her, she made it priority to stay involved in her grandchildren’s lives. They loved their mawmaw and miss her dearly. Although this time is difficult for family and friends who loved her, we rejoice knowing she is in heaven, pain free, with her mother. As a family, we want to thank everyone for your prayers and kind thoughts.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 4:30-7pm at Genoa Baptist Church at 7562 Lewis Center Road in Westerville, OH 43082.

A graveside service will take place at Sunbury Memorial Park on West Cherry Street in Sunbury, Ohio 43074 on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Beckey’s name to Genoa Baptist Church.
