Condolence From: Laura Sipe, Dublin, Ohio
Condolence: I used to tell all my friends that I wanted to be like Steve and Christina when I grew up - full of life, and always on one adventure or another. If it weren't for Steve, I never would have ridden on a motorcycle, or made it to (almost) the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. I'm so sorry that he's gone too soon, but I know he's out there having the time of his life right now. Sending Christina and all of Steve's family my best wishes for strength and peace.

Condolence: To Christina and family:

We are truly saddened. It was our honor and joy to have shared in even a small part of his life. We truly enjoyed our time together in serving as part of the Praise Band at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Our love and our deepest sympathies to Christina and family.

God's speed, Stephen.

Condolence: Dear Christina,
God's blessings and peace to you and your family during the this difficult time. Please know that Steve was loved by so many, including the members of the St. Paul Praise Team. We so enjoyed his musicianship and sense of humor! He will be missed so much!

My work schedule doesn't permit me to attend visitation hours on Friday, but you have been, and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

I know that God and your church family will be with you as times goes on, whatever you may need!

In sympathy,
Beth Bickford

Condolence From: Antonia Lambley (nee Prince), Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom
Condolence: Uncle Steve- I'm sorry my mum couldn't be a Bridesmaid at your wedding those 32 years ago but alas I was an imminent arrival and it all would have got a bit messy otherwise :)

You and Auntie Christina have, for those 32 years, been a prominent influence and intrinsic part of the life of my brother, Daniel and I.

You spent time with us as kids, always having time for our anecdotes. You never forgot our birthdays and would always make the effort to come and see us, even when we all moved to Wales. I loved chatting with you last time about 'the job' and you always 'got cop'.

We have so many happy memories with you that we will always cherish. You also gave my mum an unwavering and dedicated friendship which I will always be grateful for. Daniel and I were lucky to have you in our lives and to teach us the 'gold model' of friendship.

To our dearest Auntie Christina- you are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you so much and cannot fathom how you must be feeling. Take time and know we are there whenever you need us. You are so loved.

With all our love always to a wonderful Uncle

Antonia and Jonathan xxxx

Condolence: Stephen and Christina were a valuable part of my Ohio State University Department of Theatre memories. We enjoyed some good and occasionally some not-so-good productions, shared some laughs, and held a mutual respect for each other's perspectives. Stephen will be missed, but his legacy of impact will resonate for years to come.

Condolence From: Dick Taylor, St. Augustine, FL
Condolence: I am a member with Steve of the Worthington High School class of 1961, now Thomas Worthington High School. Although we were not close friends, I recall Steve just as his memorial implies: very bright, interesting, talented and - in hindsight - most likely "marching to his own drum". Good for him . . . On a lighter note, I doubt it will come as a surprise that - as teenage boys are inclined to do - we often devised nicknames for each other, Steve included. His nickname, of course, was "Bottomside". Fortunately, Steve and I did have a conversation or three during some of the class of 61's numerous reunions. My sincere sympathies to the Sidebottom family.
