Condolences

Condolence From: Ted Kamel, Tyler, TX
Condolence: My Aunt Bev always seemed to be the most thoughtful adult in the room when I was very young. She would add balance to any issue that came between me and mom insuring things weren't ever blown out of proportion. We could have intellectual discussions even when I was a teenager. She seemed so driven in life.

We texted and shared pictures more the last 2 years. My only regret is not being around my aunt more........distance kept us from knowing each other more.

I am so very proud to have been blessed to be her nephew; to know her two sons and share our experiences over the many years; to be a part of the bigger KCMO family that she was born into; to have a father that always seemed to be so incredibly glad to see me whenever we were together.

Bless her family, and bless her legacy.

Ted Kamel

Condolence From: Barbara Chambers, Concord Twp., OH
Condolence: I was the director of the Major Work Program, Cleveland's gifted education classes, during many years of Bev's teaching career. I visited her classes often and always found the students involved in exciting, stimulating lessons. Many gifted children in Cleveland benefited from Bev's creative approaches. ... My sympathy to her family.

Condolence From: Ramona Bryner, Tyler, Texas
Condolence: Dearest sweet family of Aunt Bev, my heart and prayers are with you every minute. I am still at a loss..still not ready for Aunt Bev to not be right there..she loved you all so much. She talked about you all the time..how you all opened your hearts, your homes, to take care of her without complaint. I feel a big, big hole in my heart. I was so blessed, especially in the last few years, to really get to know her and share just everything with her. I have always looked up to ..she was my hero. She had so much incredible love for life. She loved to learn, to laugh, to dance..just JOY. i REMEMBER when she told me she had just renewed her passport recently...I thought, " well, damn! that rocks!" she taught me the proper way to strum a guitar when I was really young. I never will forget her.

She wasn't just the best auntie ever, she was an amazing friend.

Condolence: Dave, Doug & families - very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. From our mischievous days in Cannon Estates (Solon), always enjoyed your Mom (even when she was yelling at us!).

My thoughts and prayer are with you all.

Condolence From: Karen Kingzett, Euclid, OH
Condolence: I knew Bev from playing tennis. She was an intense and competitive player. She lived a very accomplished life and I found out more about it through the obituary. She battled her cancer courageously and I never heard her complain. She seemed to take things as they came.

I hope that the memories of the happy times, your family, your friends, and your faith help to ease the pain caused by your loss.

With Deepest Sympathy,

Karen Kingzett

Condolence From: Marcia Snavely Polyak, Chagrin Falls, OH
Condolence: I met Bev many years ago when my first husband (Jim Snavely)helped coach Doug in tennis at Shaker Hts High (Doug was his star performer). She came into my life several times after that, especially when we were both single in the early 80's. I always felt a special bond because we shared so many things.... particularly our love and involvement in music. I am sorry we lost touch in the past several years, but I will always value her winning ways, her friendship, and admire her "get up and go" attitude.
