Condolences

Condolence From: Norma Emerson, Fairfield, Iowa
Condolence: I am grateful for the family tie and friendship I shared with B.J. We shared the love of her grand children who are my great grand children. She was always so friendly and caring with me....I loved this lady....she was my friend. My sincere sympathy to Matt, Jack, Kiley & Luke as they go through their life journey without her. May they find comfort in knowing that they are not alone at this difficult time. I love them. Blessings Always. Grandma Norma

Condolence: Matt and Dave,

I really enjoyed growing up with you guys and Aunt Betty and Uncle Jim. Your mom was such a good friend to my mom and dad and the entire family. When mom and dad aged she would be the first one there for a birthday, reunion or any special occasion. We loved her like another mother and will miss her. We know she is much happier now surrounded by her loved ones and still protecting all of us from Heaven.

Condolence From: Summer Fenton and the SilverSneakers, Westerville, OH
Condolence: BJ was an active member of our SilverSneakers group that met at Feridean Commons. Everyone in the class always did their "signature" stretch. BJ shared a stretch with the class that she remembered her mom doing when she was a little girl growing up. The stretch was waist circles going in one direction and then reversing it and going around with the upper body in the opposite direction. Everyone loved doing her stretch and there was a warmth of family (even though her mom was only with us in spirit) knowing a simple stretch that was so impressionable upon a little girl was shared with many others and made their bodies feel wonderful, too. Thank you BJ and we will continue to do your and your mom's stretch always!

Condolence: Betty was the first person I met when I moved to Westerville in 1973. She and I became quick friends, raising our children together on Vickers Drive during the early years. She and Jim were wonderful, caring friends. RIP, Betty❤️

Condolence From: Jane (Eberhard) Reidenbaugh, Westerville, Oh
Condolence: I worked with and for BJ many years.
But the best part was working with her at Whittier Elementary. She was very caring and gave every student patient, specialized care while teaching what they needed. She had my daughter for 6th grade and gave her the love and attention she needed at that time.
Thank you BJ for all you did for us and the friendship we had.
My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. The world lost a good person, but Heaven gained an Angel.

Condolence From: Marsha Siefker, Westerville, OH
Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Devery was my 6th grade teacher at Whittier in Westerville. My mother, Martha Kinkead, taught on the same staff with her for many years at Whittier. I had the pleasure of substitute teaching for and with her early in my teaching career (mid 90's at Hawthorne Elementary). She was an amazing teacher and a wonderful person with a beautiful, fun, endearing personality. She will be deeply missed. My mother, Martha Kinkead, sends her deepest condolences, too.

Condolence From: Karen Poulson, Broomfield, Colorado
Condolence: I met BJ (as I knew her) in 8th grade when she befriended me, the lonely "new girl" at school. We maintained that friendship throughout high school and college and then lost touch for many years However, I never forgot her and will not--she was truly beautiful, inside and out.
