She was a member of the Delta, Delta, Delta sorority. She was an elementary school teacher and a resident of Westerville for many years. She was a lifelong Buckeye fan. She enjoyed spending time and going to lunches with friends and family. She loved to travel (Italy, England, Ireland, Buckeye cruises, Arizona, Rockport, Mass). She loved spending time with her grandchildren most of all!
The family would like to thank a long list of people: The staff at The James Comprehensive Caner Center at The Ohio State University – Dr. David O’Malley, Joan Huelsman, and Courtney Arn. The staff at Legacy Pointe in Iowa City where she spent her final months, most importantly Georgia, Kevin, Shawn, and Bob. Elizabeth had an incredible group of friends who helped tremendously in recent years with her many medical trips, grocery shopping, and keeping her spirits high during her fight! A special thanks to Carol Bartlett, Judy Stapleton, Peggy Pankin, Dick Rano and so many more.
A fun lady – she will be greatly missed!
In lieu of flowers the family would ask for donations be made to Westerville City Schools, Attn: Laura Hendricks, 936 Eastwind Drive, Westerville, OH 43081 and Westerville Parks Foundation 350 North Cleveland Ave Westerville, OH 43082.
