Obituary for Darrell Chandler

Darrell Chandler, 79, entered into eternal peace on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at the Laurels of Gahanna.

Darrell was born on November 5, 1940, a son of the late Perry and Maud Chandler. He worked at Capital Tool and Dye for many years. Darrell had a lifelong love of God and practiced his faith every day. The bible was his daily companion as were gospel television and radio programs. He was a very kind and gentle soul; he had a loving and generous heart, and he loved his family endlessly.

In addition to his mother and father, Darrell was predeceased by his brother Charles (Dorothy), sister (JoAnn MacGregor) and his devoted niece Jessica Chandler. He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his brothers and sisters Donald Chandler (Lee), Carl Chandler (Jeanette), Judy Andrus (Cleo), Jim Chandler (Bonnie), Kathy Chandler, and Steve Chandler (Cindy). He will also be lovingly remembered by many adoring nieces and nephews, cousins and other family members.

Private family time and services will be held on Thursday, June 11 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home in Westerville. Burial will take place at the Galena Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Darrell's name to the charity of your choice.
