Friends may call 2 to 5 PM Sunday, November 24, 2019 at HILL FUNERAL HOME Westerville followed by 5th Day Service at 5 PM.. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM, Monday, November 25, 2019 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State St., Westerville.

Robert Tavenner

12/12/1942 - 11/18/2019

Robert “Bob” Tavenner “Born and raised in Lorain, Ohio 12/12/1942, passed away unexpectedly on 11/18/2019.

He served in the US Navy on the USS Kirwin as a Radarman and Machine Repairman. Professionally he served as a Vice Presidents and Retail Loss Prevention expert over the years for Gold Circle, Scottenstein’s and Value City.

Preceeded in death by his parents Catherine (Montgomery) Tavenner and Robert H. Tavenner, brothers Garth M. and Partick F. Tavenner and late wife Gerri Ann (Jordan) Tavenner.

He was an active an committed parishioner of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Westerville OH for over 40 years. Also actively involved and touching the lives of many in: Kindway prison ministries; CumChristo, Kairos, St. Vincent de Paul and Knights of Columbus.

Survived by his wife Mary E. Tavenner and his children: Beth (Zohar) Richman, Bryan (Paulina) Davis, Bobby (Angela) Tavenner, Bonnie (Bob) Brokaw, Natalie Davis, Becky (Duane) Danbrova; and grandchildren: Jeffrey Applegate and Avi Richman, Tyler, Nick and Zach Tavenner, Riley, Madison and Carter Brokaw and Gavin Danbrova. As well as his sisters Kathleen (Tavenner) Miller, Hilaire (Sally) Tavenner, Michelle (Joseph) Skinn and brother Christopher (Joyce) Tavenner.

In lieu of flowers, financial donations to Kindway can be submitted online to kindway.net, or mailed directly to PO. Box 67, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the 3rd Floor nursing staff at Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville Ohio for the wonderful and kind care provided during his time there.”
