Anne Reed Obituary - Hill Funeral Home

Arrangements

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Friday, November 15, 2019 at HILL FUNERAL HOME.

Sorry, for your loss Pam, and Dick. Such fond members of Annie Reed. She was another Mt. Air sweetheart that was blessed to have such a loving husband, and daughter. Happy to see on Facebook that they were together at the end. Mr. Reed holding her hand. Just as it should be when two are together their entire life. Pam hold your head high, for you did all the right things by your parents. But, how could you not since they were such loving, caring parents. God be with you both, and bless you! Love a old friend, Cindy L. Feather

Anne Louise Reed, age 91, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at her home in Sunbury, OH. After a long illness, she died peacefully in the arms of her husband and daughter. She is now in the arms of her precious Lord; healthy, whole and free of pain.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents CB & Eloise Meder, and son, Richard (Rick) Reed. She is survived by her husband of 70 years who was the love of her life from the very day she met him, Richard (Dick) Dean Reed; her daughter, Pamela (Michael) Sheedy, nieces; Peggy Delapp of Minneapolis, MS, and Nancy Schroder of Orlando, FL, grandchildren; Brandon (Natalie) Reed of Sunbury, Michael (Monica) Reed of Columbus, Kelsey (Austin) Wyman of Westerville, Alex Sheedy of Sunbury, Sam (Brittany) Sheedy of Hilliard, and Great-children; Eva & Anna Reed and Ravi and Juno Reed.

Bema, as her family fondly called her, spent her life pouring love and support into her entire family. She never missed a night of praying for every single one of them before she went to sleep. I guarantee you that if you knew her, there has been a time in her life that she has prayed for you too!

Besides being a precious person, she was also a professional seamstress and employee of Highlights for Children. But her greatest passion was her love for the Lord and being a prayer warrior!

There will be visiting hours from 5 to 7pm, Friday, November 15, 2019 at Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State St., Westerville, OH.

In lieu of flowers, Anne’s family requests donations in her memory be made to Heartland Hospice in Westerville, OH. Donation envelopes will be available at visiting hours. The family would like to express gratitude beyond words for the Hospice nurse that took such incredible care of Anne for over two years, specifically her angel, Dawn.
