Obituary for Florence Shanek

Florence Stanek, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. She was born July 29, 1924, in LaSalle, Illinois to the late Michael and Catherine Pietrzak. She spent most of her life in Riverside, Illinois. Preceeded in death by sisters Katherine and Delores Pietrzak and brother Michael Pietrzak. She is survived by sons Greg (Suzanne), of Columbus, and Christopher (Dana) - Alexandria, VA.; grandchildren Lisa Babcanec and Carrie Fererri: great grandchildren Lillian Babcanec and Anna Fererri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Mother Angeline McCrory Manor, 5199 East Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43213, where a private service for the family will be held Friday, November 21.
